ROME (2005)
- Antony/Cassius, Antony/Brutus, Brutus/Cassius, Antony/Brutus/Cassius
Basically: smash these three together in any combination you like. Feel free to use historical detail to fill in the gaps (I love this, even) but please don't replace show canon with historical fact where there are discrepancies. Eg. mentioning Cassius's experiences at Carrhae or Epicureanist tendencies - cool; rewriting Brutus and Cassius to be more in line with their Shakespearean or Plutarchan counterparts - no thank you. I'm also not super interested in having their historical wives show up, as they never actually appear in the show.
Some prompts:
- Perhaps Antony growing jealous of Cassius and Brutus; Cassius picking up on Antony’s feelings for Brutus and trying to manipulate them for political reasons; Brutus secretly fucking around with both of them and not telling the other; Cassius and Antony getting possessive/antagonistic over Brutus and Brutus being kind of into it (OR Cassius and Antony being antagonistic because of their feelings for Brutus and that tension turning into sexual tension/hate-fucking); Antony taking them hostage at Philippi (you could take this a noncon or a mercy route)...

Three guesses who my favourite NPCs are! I really enjoy the grey area between Sam and Henry considering each other brothers and being attracted to each other, so I'm also not super into any kind of handwave-y narrative justification where they just suddenly stop feeling connected via Martin so they can fuck and it's not weird at all. I like the weirdness!
Some prompts:
- Give Sam and Henry a complicated and messy relationship with each other. Are they brothers? Is there no relation? Do they still call each other bruder when they fuck? I also love religious guilt and the anxiety of eternal punishment etc. and I think this would go doubly for Henry if he considers Sam his brother. Please feel free to get into Sam's head over this, too! I've never read the Bible or the Torah but I would love reading about the characters' knowledge of them.
- Any kind of exploration of how Kubyenka and Sam became friends. Sam genuinely seems enamoured with this toad of a man by the siege, saying he'll go on suicide runs if Kubyenka goes, and praising his skills. Sam doesn't seem like someone who's overly free with his praise, so what happened? They also share a room (with an unlucky third) at Suchdol and drink together. I love messy semi-public drunken sex as well as meditative studies on their developing feelings (or both)
- I love a Sam/Henry/Kubyenka where Henry is confused as fuck about Sam's taste in men but also super jealous and trying not to be jealous because that's his "brother". Especially in a post-wedding world, where Hans is preoccupied elsewhere (or, tbh, in a non-romanced Hans world), if you can find a way to get these three together in the same place. Maybe they both volunteer to help rebuild Sam's community in Kolin? Or they both happen to visit Sam at the same time at some point down the line?
- I'd be so into anything that explores various romantic/sexual relationships between Kubyenka or Sam and the Pack; or just pass them around like a blunt with some PWP
- Likewise anything exploring Kubyenka interacting with Sara and Jehuda, especially Sara!
- Kubyenka/Janosh could be pre-canon or in the wake of Adder's death (and maybe Sam's) and clinging to each other as the last survivors of the Pack
GAME OF THRONES
- Edmure/Petyr
I love both of these guys and I don't feel like anyone is exploring the history they have together! Also, I am shallow sometimes, and they are both hot and I would like them to explore each other's bodies :)
Some prompts:
- The Riverrun years... I am thinking about them. Instead of Lysa pining away for Petyr, it could be Edmure. Or, the love triangle could gain another sibling. If Petyr didn't return his affections, or used him in some way, the nickname "Littlefinger" could have an entirely different context...
- I would also love anything involving them meeting again as older men. Petyr would run rings around Edmure no doubt, but perhaps this is simply foreplay to them.
- Coming-too-fast, erectile dysfunction, and other forms of humiliation they could hold over one another <3

- Marcus Aurelius/Fronto
I am way, way, way too enamoured with Marcus Aurelius and I am determined to wrest him away from the grubby hands of stoic bros. The absolutely cavernous difference between his letters to Fronto and his Meditations is so fascinating to me; the lack of warmth when he addresses his thanks to Fronto in the Meditations vs. the wonderful games they play in their letters when he's younger.
Some prompts:
- An epistolary pastiche, of letters sent and lost to time, or letters unsent between them, especially ones that toe the line of propriety
- Scenes that fill in the gaps between letters; scenes just as ambiguous as their letters
- A reflection or meeting later in life, when they are much changed
- Something set after Fronto's death. I love Stoics for the absolutely insane amount of repression they can fit in them, especially where grief is concerned (Aurelius's determination to overcome attachment is so agonising and often directed at eg. the death of his children, but he has other attachments too - perhaps Fronto was the first thing he taught himself to detach from)
- Any kind of philosophical, moral, ideological debate between them! Especially little vignettes of how it changes over the years (Aurelius losing interest in rhetoric etc.)
